See – Season 2

WHY

What a pleasure to be back in this post-apocalyptic future of one of the first series of Apple TV+, Jason Momoa still has that huge charisma and he will have a lot to do with the new villain of the series, Dave Bautista. The other great addition to this new season is the arrival of producer Jonathan Tropper, who produced the excellent series Banshee and Warrior. This is felt in the approach of the fights, much more brutal and gory. And he did not come alone, his friend Hoon Lee, used to the series mentioned before is also part of the game. The visual aspect of this new season is strongly inspired by feudal Japan with a Jason Momoa who adopts a look very close to the samurai. The season has many intense fights but also more calm sequences that will enrich the background of this world. After the three episodes that we have seen, Queen Kane (Sylvia Hoeks) has already resumed her shenanigans and manipulations but her sister is also good at that. We also discover new environments much more vast and impressive than the first season. The surprises will be as numerous and we can’t wait to discover where the story will take us.

WHAT

“See” takes place in the distant future, after a deadly virus decimated humankind. Those who survived emerged blind. Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss — the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see — who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who wants the twins destroyed. Alfre Woodard stars as Paris, Baba Voss’s spiritual leader.
